Think of Recordit as a catcher's mitt that captures all the form data and files submitted from your website and organizes it into a database. You can then view, search, analyze and download your valuable data and files securely with a simple web-based administrator.

Upon submitting a form to Recordit, the service will either create a custom response page for your visitor or redirect them to another page on your website. An optional confirmation email to you and the submitter may also be configured.

Built in features make it easy to track your affiliate leads and online marketing campaigns. You can submit forms from many websites to the same account and setup rules for each form that determine the response page, response email and more. Several built in security features prevent abuse from spammers and help keep your information clean. Our optional file upload service takes advantage of Amazon's S3 service, which provides you limitless and secure file storage.

Recordit can also automatically add email addresses collected on your site to your Constant Contact email marketing account, making it the perfect companion for Constant Contact users!

replace your form mailer

Most sites use a simple form mailer that only sends out an email to the webmaster. Most of these programs not only create security and spamming problems, but they also miss out completely on putting to work the valuable information you have collected.

One of our inspirations for creating Recordit came from listening to our client's requests. They wanted a way to easily create an email list of all the customers who had contacted them. Simple formmail scripts couldn't do this, which was an issue for our clients. Other customers noticed that their business emails were getting piles of spam delivered. Turns out, these email addresses were being harvested off of our client's web forms.

Recordit solves these problems. It organizes all of your data into a searchable database and provides a useful administrator to keep tabs on everything. Its a snap for example to get an email list of everyone who has contacted you and automatically add email addresses to your email marketing program. No emails are placed on your forms for spammers to find. This lightens the spam load in your Inbox.

Then, to kick it up a notch, we added a lot of other great features to Recordit like file upload, secure form submission and dynamic emails and response pages. It all adds up to a great tool for your business.
